Vita

Clara Elisa Simon has been a research assistant and lecturer in the Department of Personality and Social Psychology since April 2025.

Additionally, she works as a research assistant in the Department of Environmental Psychology in the KlimaPlanReal project. There, she supports and researches the implementation of climate protection measures as part of real-world laboratories at five universities in Saxony-Anhalt.

Previously, she worked as a research assistant at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences in the MINT-VR-Labs project, where she investigated the effect of virtual reality learning applications in a university context on the learning success and learning motivation of students.

Clara completed her Master's degree in Environmental Psychology at Otto von Guericke University in 2022. In her master's thesis, she developed and tested a scale based on the partial credit model to assess CO2 impact knowledge. She also worked as a research assistant in the Environmental Psychology department on the ENVIRON project during her Master's degree. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the Free University of Berlin.

Clara is also on the board of the Initiative Psychologie im Umweltschutz (IPU e.V.).
